Who knows, but I'll have fun trying. Plus, I'm curious to see what I sneak through to include as well!

Have you read any of these? Which ones should I read first?

  1. What a great list of books. I love The Lotus Eaters so I would recommend starting there, but I also hear really good things about Major Pettigrew, so I think that wold be a good choice as well. Good Luck!

  2. Hmm, well they all look good! The only one I've read is the History of Love and well, I loved it and everyone in my book club loved it. I was crying on the subway while reading it so be careful about that :)

  3. What organized, thorough reading goals! I personally could never follow through with goals of this kind, but I admire readers who set goals and manage to meet them. These books are also so diverse that it's a balanced, well-planned reading month. I hope you enjoy it!

  5. I've only read Major Pettigrew's Last Stand (well, I did read Hamlet in high school, but that doesn't really count). I've heard great things about The Imperfectionists, though, and plan to order it soon!

  6. I am so excited to read One Day - it came in the mail the other day from Paperbackswap. Looking forward to your thoughts on it once you finish. I hope we like it as much as all the reviews I've seen on it so far *nervous*

  7. I see we have some of the same books included in our January tbr piles like Major Pettigrew, One Day, and The Lotus Eaters. I have no idea that the NBCC awards were being announced this month. Good luck!

  8. I have been influenced by all the 'best of 2010' lists too. I'm reading One Day at the moment and really enjoying it. I hope to get hold of a copy of Materhorn soon too. I hope you enjoy your selection :-)

  9. I have Major Pettigrew on my list as well, in fact I need to review it in January for TLC tours. It's a novel I'm especially looking forward to. We'll have to talk when we both finish it!
