It's now just a matter of signing the actors to new deals and, according to one insider, finding a new soundstage to house the show's sets.

To say this would be a huge victory for crazy TV fans everywhere would be the understatement of the frakkin' millennium.

---

AICN also says that this is looking more and more likely!Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602403873619638115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5918892767071973314.post-24673860169852963582007-05-22T15:26:00.000-04:002007-05-22T15:26:00.000-04:00From the Jericho message board: Below is a stateme...From the Jericho message board:

Below is a statement from CBS Entertainment:

To the fans of Jericho:

We have read your emails over the past few days and have been touched by the depth and passion with which you have expressed your disappointment. Please know that canceling a television series is a very difficult decision. Hundreds of people at the Network, the production company and the incredibly-talented creative team worked very hard to build and serve the community for this show -- both on-air and online. It is a show we loved too.

Thank you for supporting Jericho with such passion. We truly appreciate the commitment you made to the series and we are humbled by your disappointment. In the coming weeks, we hope to develop a way to provide closure to the compelling drama that was the Jericho story.

Sincerely,

Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainmentnomadreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04795144320842413060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5918892767071973314.post-56080260340808508982007-05-21T23:03:00.000-04:002007-05-21T23:03:00.000-04:00I really liked Jericho (though I didn't like the s...I really liked Jericho (though I didn't like the season finale death). Its cliffhanger non-renewal is the perfect example of why they should never do cliffhanger season finales on shows not-yet renewed. I know they say they *might* do *something* to wrap it up, but I'm not holding my breath.

They did the same thing to me with Alf over 15 years ago!Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602403873619638115noreply@blogger.com
