It seemed inevitable, which is perhaps the larger point. It wasn't (I think) that she had a better connection to Sean; it was simply that he was there, and she wasn't invested her marriage.nomadreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04795144320842413060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5918892767071973314.post-56103640432199698492012-03-29T14:57:22.520-04:002012-03-29T14:57:22.520-04:00I seem to have better luck with Edelweiss than Net...I seem to have better luck with Edelweiss than NetGalley, but I've had this one on my Kindle since last fall.nomadreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04795144320842413060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5918892767071973314.post-68539270372074168092012-03-29T14:56:54.244-04:002012-03-29T14:56:54.244-04:00Her writing is lovely. I guess it's a pet peeve, but from the way you've described this to me the main female narrator sounds intriguing enough to pick this one up. I hadn't thought about it being a problem with the male characters, but I think that would help. What it really needed was something thought provoking. It was a lovely story, but it needs to do more than that to really shine.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698068501004755678noreply@blogger.com
