BEA Plan

Here is my tentative BEA Plan. There are conflicts, and I may change my mind about which author I care more about on the spot. Similarly, I may not care enough to arrive at 6:45 a.m. to get tickets to the ticketed events. I tend to enjoy spontaneity, but at least I know the things I would like to do. If I don't do them all, I'm okay with that. Even after looking at the floor plan, I'm unsure how close the booths will be once there are so many people in the building. My actual document is color-coded in an attempt to highlight different locations. Here is the information:

Comments

  1. I'm not a literary fiction reader but I think I'm going to have to meet Kathleen Kent. Her next book is set in the town where I grew up. :)

  2. I'll be there - and I hope to be at some of the same signings as you...Joyce Carol Oates, Kathleen Kent, Caroline Leavitt, Doonsbury, and Beth Kephart.

I am planning on making a tentative schedule today.

By the way, it wasn't clear to me on the BEA site - how does one go about getting a ticket to the ticketed signings??

  3. Great list of events, I posted my tentative schedule today too :) I am loving seeing what everyone else has planned as there seem to be so many great things I've overlooked!

  4. I see a couple signings I want to go to on there.

Definitely want the Passage, Book Lust, Delirium, and I will be at the reception.

Great plan, cannot wait to meet you, even though you ARE pretty local. Weird that it takes BEA to meet bloggers from the neighborhood/state. :-)

  5. I want to meet Kathleen Kent; I loved her first book. I have that and a couple of other signings on my planner but mostly I'm just going to walk around and take it all in. I hope to see you at the Blogger Reception at the Algonquin! :-)
